DISCOVER presented by AGENA during the Bioarchitecture and Sustainability Week event
The Bioarchitecture and Sustainability Week event is a important moment to discuss on the responses that cities must give to the complexities due to the ongoing climate crisis. Professional training credits are provided for architects, engineers and surveyors.
DISCOVER project was presented AGENA, together with the TERAMO study case, city partner of the DISCOVER project.
The event, organized by AESS as part of the ENCOM HUB project, saw the participation of numerous public and private entities, including cooperatives from the Emilia-Romagna region. The main objective of the forum was to promote knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration for common actions, through the sharing of experiences in the initiation of Renewable Energy Communities (REC) at various stages.
The meeting's program included presentations of the challenges and strategies adopted in pilot projects and ongoing initiatives. Participants discussed the management of financial resources, the roles of the actors required for community management, and the methods of engaging communities.
Danilo Di Pietro, representing the DISCOVER partner AGENA, shared with the other participants the experiences gained from the DISCOVER project, particularly regarding the establishment of energy communities in the province of Teramo. The main strengths of the project were highlighted, as well as the difficulties encountered, thus providing a useful opportunity for comparison for other organizations involved in similar initiatives.
The Forum thus represented an important opportunity for discussion and collaboration, with the aim of stimulating the development of energy communities, particularly in the province of Teramo, by leveraging the experiences and solutions adopted in other national contexts.
