Was there a particular moment that stood out during the workshop? How did stakeholders respond to the DISCOVER project activities you presented?
The people we spoke to have understood our approach perfectly and tried their best to enrich our work with their own vision. Each speaker shared his sensitivity, regularly pointing out different but always consistent points. In general, they recognized the relevance of our case-by-case support for condominiums. This was still a marginal issue in the energy community projects, but one that needed to be tackled. They all stressed the relevance of APC's activities in Discover and its in-depth work on the specific Guidebook listing all the stages of a project. Our advanced service was also praised for its completeness and the care it takes to dialogue and educate condominium. They recognized the fine analysis of this type of customers that APC has long applied to its other activities.
What ideas, suggestions or new inputs raised from the discussion?
Nevertheless, they also questioned the current form of the tools, in particular that of the complete study, which was too succinct and not personalized enough for them. It would be important to address the architectural questions that were missing from the technical issues. Above all, it seems necessary to support our customers on the legal and decision-making issues, central to the deployment of energy communities in Paris. We then agreed to revisit this study and develop these themes. In addition, the second version will be modular to provide more precise and useful information for each condominium. This will greatly enhance the personalization of our support, while limiting our work to what really moves projects forward. In this way, we hope to bring decision-makers on board more easily, with a language that speaks to them, rather than relying on a perfectly exhaustive vision understood only by professionals like us.
