The objectives of the project

The renewable energy landscape is constantly evolving, with more and more communities keen on actively participating in the energy transition. In this context, the DISCOVER project emerges as a guiding light, bringing together existing best practices and consolidated projects to engage citizens and establish energy communities across Europe.

DISCOVER is not just an ambitious project; it is a dynamic resource for those looking to kickstart initiatives in the field of renewable energy. Drawing upon a solid foundation of established projects and proven approaches, the project aims to provide initiators with a comprehensive guide that addresses the practical and targeted operational challenges they may encounter along the way.

The recent launch event held in Vienna on January 11th and 12th marked the beginning of this exciting journey. During the kick-off meeting, project partners had the opportunity to discuss the initial planned activities, including the creation of a comprehensive and informative guidebook. The work accomplished during the kick-off meeting laid the groundwork for effective collaboration among project partners and outlined a clear roadmap for the future.

DISCOVER the PARTNERS

As the coordinator and communication leader of the project, AISFOR is currently working on creating the communication and dissemination plan and the Handbook of Project Management. Additionally, AISFOR has developed a distinctive visual identity and produced communication materials for all partners involved in the project.

PIXEL is the Austrian and technical coordinator of the project. Its main goal is integrating existing and new and advanced services in a guidebook that will have a meaningful impact also outside of the Discover project.

AGENA is the Italian pilot of the project. AGENA wants to be the referring point of the territory of Teramo by being itself the One Sto Shop (OSS), aiming to simplify administrative procedures with step-by-step instructions during the lifetime of the community energy projects.

APC is the French pilot of the project. Thanks to DISCOVER, APC is enhancing with new skills and tools its existing OSS for energy renovation.

BEZ GRANICA is the Croatian pilot of the project. BEZ GRANICA's main goal is to activate Community Energy Projects (CEPs) in cooperation with local municipalities in Primorje-Gorski kotar area.

IESDI is the Bulgarian partner of the project. Thanks to the DISCOVER project, IESDI wants to boost the CEPs creation in Sofia region by creating a one-stop-shop to provide integrated services to support them.
